Here is this week's schedule, advising members who will be serving on the platform. Also included is a list of upcoming events. Hope that this is helpful to you, and that you are having a great week!
A field trip in 2011 for the Unfoldment class-- Here we are at Book Revue in Huntington to see Hollister Rand, with Joe Fazio (now in the Summerland), who was our Treasurer at the time. We all enjoyed seeing this gifted medium and are now thrilled that she reached out to us and will pay a visit to our church! Yes, the first Long Island date is us! We are excited and honored to have well-known and international medium and author Hollister Rand (see http://www.hollisterrand.com) offer an Evening of Spirit Communication on Tuesday, October 18 from 7 to 8:30 PM Then at 8:30 PM there will be a simple Fellowship and a book signing of Hollister’s book I’m Not Dead, I’m Different. For the first time for our church, we are asking for a “love donation” as the fee for each guest. Please reserve a seat since seating is limited and will fill up quickly. Or put in your request in as an email to our website: summerlandchurchoflight@gmail.com or call Frank at (631) 316-1588. Reservations can also be made with a Board member (Su, Deb, T, M'Lis, Valerie) at one of our church services. |

What a Fall Lineup And Beyond...!!
Saturday September 17 7th Annual SCOL Picnic!! Well-behaved dogs welcome! Yes there will be a Sandwich contest. Time to look for recipes! See flyer for details. Regarding Belmont Lake State Park, the entrance fee per car is $8. We usually try to find a spot close to the lake. From the parking lot, you see a restroom building. If you walk to the right of it, there is a path that takes you straight to the lake. We try to meet near the end of that walk, to the right of the path, before the lake. |
