Wednesday August 12 Total Solar Eclipse in Leo + New Moon in Leo + Perseid meteor shower peak The Perseid meteor shower will peak on the night of Wednesday, August 12, into the early morning of Thursday, August 13. Overall, the meteor shower is active from July 17 through August 24, 2026. 2026 is an Ideal Year Viewing conditions for the 2026 peak are expected to be the best in a decade due to a New Moon on August 12. Because the moon will be 0% full, the skies will be perfectly dark, allowing stargazers to see anywhere from 50 to 100 meteors per hour under clear skies. Best Viewing Times & Tips * The Prime Window: The absolute best time to watch is between midnight and dawn on August 13, with peak activity often clustering between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM local time. * Where to Look: Face toward the east-northeast horizon. Look for the distinctive "W" shape of the Cassiopeia constellation; the Perseid radiant point sits right below it near the constellation Perseus. * Optimize Your View: Try to look slightly to the side of the constellation rather than directly at it to catch the longest meteor tails. Give your eyes about 20 to 30 minutes to fully adjust to the darkness by avoiding your phone screen or bright flashlights. (Thank you for the above, Google AI. On August 8, 2026, this powerful alignment reaches its peak as the radiant Sun in Leo aligns with Sirius, often called our “Spiritual Sun.” Many believe this annual portal amplifies intuition, inspiration, abundance, and soul-level transformation, making it one of the most powerful times of the year to manifest new beginnings and reconnect with your life’s purpose. This isn’t simply a manifestation portal. It’s an invitation to become the version of yourself capable of receiving everything you’ve been asking for. The energy flowing through this Lion’s Gate rewards authenticity, courage, gratitude, and conscious intention. The more aligned your thoughts, emotions, and actions become, the easier it is to attract opportunities that genuinely reflect your highest good. If you want to fully embrace the incredible energy of the 2026 Lion’s Gate Portal, here are the biggest DOS and DON’TS to guide your journey. (Continued at end of newsletter.) This event marks a significant celestial moment, as it is the first solar eclipse in Leo since 2019. This total solar eclipse is part of the ongoing Aquarius-Leo eclipse series, which began earlier in 2026. It emphasizes themes of self-expression, leadership, and creativity. The eclipse encourages individuals to reflect on their personal identities and how they express themselves in various aspects of life, including relationships and creative pursuits. A New Moon in Leo signifies new beginnings and fresh starts, particularly in areas related to self-expression, creativity, and personal desires. It encourages individuals to embrace their authentic selves, take risks, and pursue their deepest aspirations over the following weeks and months. Saturday August 8 Lion's Gate Portal peak The energy flowing through this Lion’s Gate rewards authenticity, courage, gratitude, and conscious intention. DO: Become Crystal Clear About What You Truly Want Manifestation begins with clarity. DO: Raise Your Frequency Through Gratitude Gratitude remains one of the most powerful ways to align yourself with abundance. DO: Welcome Inspired Opportunities Instead of Forcing Outcomes One of the greatest gifts of this year’s Lion’s Gate Portal comes through Jupiter’s harmonious relationship with Uranus. Sometimes the Universe answers your intentions in ways your current perspective couldn’t possibly imagine. Your next breakthrough may not arrive according to your plan. It may arrive according to a much better one. DO: Align Your Actions With Your Manifestations Manifestation is far more than wishful thinking. The Lion’s Gate Portal isn’t simply about asking the Universe for miracles—it’s about becoming someone who is ready to receive them. DO: Trust Your Intuition More Than Your Fear One of the most beautiful gifts of the 2026 Lion’s Gate Portal is the extraordinary spiritual support surrounding it. The flowing connections between Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn, combined with the rare Kite Pattern, create an atmosphere where intuition becomes unusually clear and synchronicities become impossible to ignore. The Biggest DON’TS During the 8:8 Lion’s Gate Portal: DON’T: Keep Repeating the Same Old Story One of the biggest mistakes people make during manifestation season is expecting a different future while constantly replaying the same past. DON’T: Let Fear Make Your Decisions Fear has an incredible way of disguising itself as logic. It tells you to wait. To stay comfortable. To play it safe. To avoid taking risks. But under this Lion’s Gate Portal, those instincts deserve to be questioned. Let excitement become louder than hesitation. DON’T: Ignore the Signs the Universe Is Sending During powerful spiritual gateways, synchronicities often become impossible to ignore. Perhaps you keep seeing repeating numbers. Perhaps the same message appears in different conversations. Perhaps a certain idea refuses to leave your mind. These moments aren’t meant to create fear. They’re invitations to become more aware. DON’T: Compare Your Journey to Someone Else’s One of the fastest ways to block your own manifestations is by measuring your progress against someone else’s timeline. DON’T: Doubt That You’re Worthy of Receiving Abundance Perhaps the greatest obstacle to manifestation isn’t a lack of opportunity. It’s a lack of belief. Final Thoughts: Walk Through the Portal with an Open Heart As the Lion’s Gate Portal reaches its peak, remember this simple truth: The life you’re manifesting isn’t created in one magical moment. It’s created every time you choose hope over fear…Faith over doubt…Growth over comfort…And your highest self over your old limitations. Walk through this portal with gratitude in your heart, courage in your spirit, and complete trust that the Universe is already working behind the scenes in ways you cannot yet see. Your next chapter isn’t waiting for permission. It’s waiting for you. https://consciousreminder.com/2026/08/01/biggest-dos-donts-for-maximizing-the-vibes-of-the-powerful-88-lions-gate-portal/ ------------------------------------- In peace and harmony, Valerie Miller SCOL Secretary |
