"The Value of Intuition" Hi, everyone. For our Mediumship Class on Thursday, July 31 at 7:30 pm on Zoom, we will be working with the idea of intuition. It is with great sadness that we inform you that Bob Johnson, devoted husband of Camille Johnson, our church Vice-President, passed away on Monday, July 28. Bob had been courageously dealing with many health issues for several years. He was a Vietnam War veteran, a doctor who did his best to save lives in the company of others on a U.S. Navy swift boat. After service, he had a long medical practice as a doctor and was beloved by all his patients and medical staff. He will long be remembered as a brave and selfless individual. May angels and Infinite Intelligence guide him through his transition to the Summerland. If there is time at the end of each class, there will be a discussion on topics related to Spiritualism and Spirituality. People of all faiths and philosophies are welcome. Dog Days of Summer The dog days get their name based on astronomy. In ancient times, many cultures believed exceptionally hot weather was directly related to the appearance of Sirius - the 'dog star.' Sirius peaks in magnitude and visibility in the dawn hours on July 23, and the dog days are said to occur from 20 days before to 20 days after this celestial event, from July 3 through August 11 each year.
