its believed community. This information is being furnished

Give Thanks by Giving Back
Because of your generous offerings and attendance at
workshops and fundraisers, the Summerland Board decided to give donations to three charities to support local families in need of food and support, especially at this time of year.
Donations have been made to Island Harvest, Long Island
Cares, and the Long Island Council of Churches Food Bank on behalf of the Summerland community.
If you wish to make a contribution on your own, please
consider the Food Bank of the Long Island Council of
Churches. Summerland Church of Light is a member
church of this worthwhile organization. See poster at right
for more details. Please mention Summerland if you
decide to make a donation. Thank you!
Ordained Minister Wednesday afternoon. He later received an
email from June Killmer, the Director of the Education Department,
stating that he “unofficially” passed the exam and further
instructions for the future ordination ceremony are on the
way. This gathering, when it is safe to meet in person again,
would serve to to introduce Frank as an Ordained Minister
to the Summerland congregation.
Congratulations, Frank, for fulfilling your goal and dream
of becoming a Spiritualist Minister. You already were
demonstrating leadership qualities for more than 10 years
and now have the full credentials. Summerland is so
proud of you and the heights you have attained. We know
you will not rest on your laurels and will keep progressing!
Blessings to you!

We are happy to showcase art created by our friends.
At the end of last week’s service, it was mentioned that
Kyle Blumenthal’s artwork is being presented in a few shows,
two virtual and one in person (wear a mask). It was suggested
that this info be added to the newsletter so our community can
appreciate Kyle’s art for themselves.
We have talented people in our community. Please send
pictures of your artwork or a short poem, for example, if you
would like our readers to see or read. Note that not all submis-
sions can be posted due to space limitations and editorial
Here is information about Kyle Blumenthal and exhibits that
show her work.
