It's right around the corner! Saturday August 29: The 6th Annual SCOL Picnic! Get ready for some fun outside at Belmont Lake State Park! Time to buy the ingredients for your Sandwich! Who will win the contest?
Well-behaved dogs welcome!
Yes there will be a Sandwich contest. Time to test out your recipes! Regarding Belmont Lake State Park, the entrance fee per car is $8. We usually try to find a spot close to the lake. From the parking lot, you see a restroom building. If you walk to the right of it, there is a path that takes you straight to the lake. We try to meet near the end of that walk, to the right of the path, before the lake. |
Sunday Sept. 6: Special Day for Message Circle
Sunday Sept. 13: Visiting Presenter Maxine Meilleur, offers Workshop on "Everyday Skills of Sensitivity"
Sunday September 20: The Children's Lyceum Program resumes!
Sunday September 27: Visiting Medium Joseph Schiel, Spirit Artist offers platform work and Workshop on "Introduction to Spirit Art"
Last weekend, we had a special visitor, Rev. Lelia Cutler, who has graced our gatherings before. She calls herself the "Mouth from the South," as she hails from Norfolk, Virginia, and has a wonderful singing voice. It was also a pleasure to meet Teri Johnson, who is from Lelia's church and was the navigator for the road trip here! Lelia's workshop on the Kybalion Saturday was informative and thought-provoking. Thanks to all who attended!
