Birthday of Andrew Jackson Davis
Andrew Jackson Davis was born on August 11, 1826 in Blooming Grove (Orange County), NY. This town is a small hamlet along the Hudson River. As Seer and Clairvoyant of the 19th Century, he was be able to enter into a higher sphere of consciousness and access higher spiritual and physical knowledge.
Davis was the first person to diagnose and prescribe cures for individuals while himself in a trance state about 50 years before Edgar Cayce. He also described in detail what happens to the soul at death, and explained spiritualism and other metaphysical phenomena.
