Happy New Year!
Welcome this New Year with a smile, a spirit
of giving, a sense of humanity, and a pledge to
spread the Light and Joy of Spiritualism!
Last Sunday, Summerland Church of Light bid farewell to Bob and Jodie Kiss.
They have relocated upstate to the Rochester area as you read this.
We are sorry to see them go, but wish them all the best as they move ahead on their path. They leave behind a legacy of deep commitment to the church and all its functions and a true sense of Spiritualism and healing expressed in a multitude of ways.
Bob currently holds the position of Treasurer on the SCOL Board.
We are looking for members in good standing to volunteer for the the Treasurer position.
If you are interested please tell a Board Member or respond via email to Valerie.
Last Sunday, Dec. 20, was very awesome yet bittersweet at the same time. The Holiday Servce in the morning with candle lighting was very special. We sang moving holiday songs to usher in good seasonal vibes.
A picture memory book was given to the Kisses as a token of Summerland's gratitude. Frank gave Bob some fancy socks with a wolf motif.
As an extremely generous gesture, the Kisses donated their proceeds from the Drumming Circle to the church.
