Healing outing at the Bayard Arboretum
"Things that Bloom in Summer" Sunday, June 23, 2024 Photos from Summerland's "Things that Bloom in Summer" outing at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. First two photos: Our group outside, and inside, the great healing tree. While we were there we witnessed a lovely young couple tying the knot under the canopy of the great healing tree! We were charmed to learn that the couple's first date was at the arboretum, the proposal followed later at the gazebo here, and they decided to exchange vows beneath the powerful weeping beech tree. How wonderful it was to see that their chosen flower to symbolize their unity was none other than the sunflower! An abundance of blessings and happiness to the newlyweds! 🙏💞🌻
