Photo by Aaron Burden on Unsplash. ---------------- August 30-31 Full Blue Supermoon in Pisces (peak 9:36 PM ET) Astrologer Pam Gregory talks about developments leading up to the full Supermoon in Pisces on September 30-31, and beyond. Here's a small portion of the video transcript:  "Before I get to the full Super Moon a reminder that we have Uranus moving stationary retrograde that's happening on the 29th of August and we will feel that like a huge turning around, we will feel that several days to either side. So really the week running into that full Super Moon at the end of the month we are going to be feeling much stronger uranium energy...it's very much linked to earthquakes and volcanoes of all kinds. It can be real earthquakes, volcanoes, political or financial ones, because it's running into the the super moon. That could indicate some increased seismic activity for us as well so be aware of that but as well as earthquakes and volcanoes it's to do with sudden radical changes surprises. It can be power cut out, it can be cyber attacks, very much truth coming to light. Uranus the planet of truth it's the plant of Awakening, it's the planet of Kundalini as well so any or all of those things could start to manifest in that final week of August but the full Super Moon itself, this is the the third one in a row of four, it is the closest and therefore will appear the biggest and brightest of that row of four and that means that the Moon is at the closest point this year to the Earth in its orbit and so let's hope wherever you are you have clear skies to see a big beautiful moon because they really are spectacular, but equally as all Sailors know, the tides can be higher and they have a great, a very strong gravitational pull on the tectonic plates but also on our psyches too, so it's going to be a powerful one in in lots and lots of ways. So it happens on the 30th of August and it's at 7 degrees 25 minutes of Pisces. Any full moon tends to bring things to a head because it's the peak of the moon cycle, particularly feelings and emotions and Pisces certainly falls into that category because not only is it a water sign linked to our emotions, it's one of the most sensitive water signs so it's to do with kindness with empathy, with sympathy, with compassion. It's very much connected to the spiritual, connected to Source, connected to Oneness, connected to unconditional love and healing, and has a very beautiful side to it. As well it can bring a feeling of of overwhelm or confusion or it's all too much and that's particularly because we've also got five planets in mutable signs and new mutability can be wonderful in terms of our adaptability and flexibility and seeing things from other people's points of view, but ..." "Meditation and Messages" occurs on the second Tuesday of the month, each month, from 7:30 to 8:45 pm. A 20-30 minute meditation will be followed by 45 minutes of spirit messages. Two In-Person SCOL Services a Month Now: Our church is having two hybrid services (services that are in-person at UUFSB and also live-streamed on Zoom) a month now. They are usually on the first and third Saturdays of the month, but this may not always be the case. Our next Hybrid services will be on September 2 and 16. If anything changes concerning our in-person services, we will let you know. At this point, we are not requiring you to wear a mask but you may certainly do so. (Health protocols may change due to changing NY state and UUFSB mandates.) The room for our services in the Religious Education wing has two portable air-purifying systems that will be used during the time we are there. We require a minimum of four people to attend (not counting the platform workers and helpers). Please let us know if you can commit to coming, and how often, to our hybrid services. Also, we are looking for more people to serve at our hybrid services. If you have an interest in offering a Spiritual Address, offering a guided meditation, or being a greeter, please let us know in an email.
