Online Thursday March 17:
Hi, everyone. This Thursday night, March 17, at 7:30 pm on Zoom, we will be working with the world of movies in giving our readings. Our students will imagine their partners in movies and also those they connect to in spirit. Perhaps our partners or those in spirit will remind us of actors we’ve seen in movies. Everything is possible in a larger perspective.

St. Gertrude of Nivelles Day
"... truth be told, there is no official patron saint for cats.
The job fell to St. Gertrude of Nevilles because she is the patron saint of mice. Cats like mice. So there you go. St. Gertrude is actually not the patron saint of mice, either. She was particularly devoted to the Poor Souls in Purgatory and they were often depicted as mice. St. Gertrude is actually the patron saint of travelers, because she took care of travelers in this world. Legend has it that your first day in the next world is spent with St. Gertrude. The day after that is spent with St. Michael the Archangel. Of course, somebody just made that up. But I wouldn't mind it if it were true. Maybe they tell us everything we we always wanted to know, like who shot Kennedy. But there are no 'days' in the next world." http://asksistermarymartha.blogspot.com/2009/03/st-gertrude-of-mices.html

We are asking for love donations at this time during our online church services to support our work and to allow us to continue through these troubling times. We are not meeting in person so can't pass around the offering plate to help us with ongoing operating expenses that need to be paid: partial rent, full insurance, Zoom fees, payment to the national organization, to name a few.

Vernal Equinox! First Day of Spring! Ostara!
Also on this day, the Sun rises exactly in the east and sets exactly
in the west—a good thing to know if you get lost in the woods.
The first day of spring is one thing, and the first
spring day is another. The difference between them is
sometimes as great as a month. ~Henry Van Dyke

Spiritual Healing Requests
Spirit healings result from law-governed forces being put into operation following the sending forth of a thought directive (prayer). Spirit guides and doctors will diagnose the trouble and its cause, attention being directed to overcoming the cause, and then removing the symptoms.
Please set time aside each day to send healing thoughts for each of those listed below, that they may receive from Spirit that which is for their highest and best needs.
Your healing prayers are needed and benefit others in ways we may never know.
Prayer for Spiritual Healing
I ask the Great Unseen Healing Force
To remove all obstructions
From my mind and body
And to restore me to perfect health.
I ask this in all sincerity and honesty
And I will do my part.
I ask this Great Unseen Healing Force
To help both present and absent ones
Who are in need of help
And to restore them to perfect health.
I put my trust and love in the power of God.
