As this Taurus Eclipse is the last in a cycle, it does hold incredible power for endings. If there is something you wish to end, something you wish to bring to a close, the weeks surrounding this Eclipse are a great time to take action. Use the energies of the Eclipse to close doors and say goodbye to all that is no longer serving your soul. While we may wish to control this process, Eclipses tend to work in mysterious ways, guiding us to where we need to be. While you may have requests of what you wish to be free of, let the Eclipse also work its magic. Let it reveal to you all there is to see. The final pieces of the puzzle will be put into place, so allow them to fall where they may. Journey to the Underworld Pluto, the planet known as the Lord of the Underworld, is very active under this Full Moon Eclipse. Pluto is also the natural ruler of Scorpio, so seeing as it is Scorpio Season, its energy will be pronounced. Pluto, and the sign of Scorpio, is also synonymous with the themes of death and rebirth. At this time of year too, the Pleiades, a star constellation linked to death and rebirth also aligns high in the sky. There is a strong theme here of death and rebirth. There is a strong theme given to us by the Lord of the Underworld, as he takes us on this journey of renewal and transformation. We may have to confront some shadows or peek into corners we may not have dared to before. We may find ourselves unearthing things that are uncomfortable. What was once hidden may now step into the light. The Lord of the Underworld is comfortable in the shadows because he owns them. He acknowledges them. He has made peace with all that he has found there. Under this Taurus Full Moon Eclipse, we may find ourselves doing the same. We may find ourselves making peace with all that has come up for us, not just in the present, but from our past too. Remember, this Eclipse energy brings us all the way back to November 2021, so all of the space we have filled from this time is ready to be made peace with. A 20-30 minute meditation will be followed by 45 minutes of spirit messages. All guests can give messages, as in a Message Circle, under the guidance of Frank.If there is time at the end of each class, there will be a discussion on topics related to Spiritualism and Spirituality. People of all faiths and philosophies are welcome. The next class will be on Tuesday, November 14. For more information see poster here: https://www.summerlandchurchoflight.org/payments--donations.html#Meditation&Messages In-Person Mediumship Meetup on Tuesdays: We have decided to suspend in-person mediumship classes at UUFSB until there is more interest for those wishing to attend. Two In-Person SCOL Services a Month Now: Our church is having two hybrid services (services that are in-person at UUFSB and also live-streamed on Zoom) a month now. They are usually on the first and third Saturdays of the month, but this may not always be the case. Our next Hybrid services will be on November 4 and 18 . If anything changes concerning our in-person services, we will let you know. At this point, we are not requiring you to wear a mask but you may certainly do so. (Health protocols may change due to changing NY state and UUFSB mandates.) The room for our services in the Religious Education wing has two portable air-purifying systems that will be used during the time we are there. We require a minimum of four people to attend (not counting the platform workers and helpers). Please let us know if you can commit to coming, and how often, to our hybrid services. Also, we are looking for more people to serve at our hybrid services. If you have an interest in offering a Spiritual Address, offering a guided meditation, or being a greeter, please let us know in an email.
