Tuesday September 28 @ 7:30 PM In-Person* Mediumship Development Meetup This mediumship group is open to both SCOL members and non-members. These classes are to help you build your intuitive and mediumistic abilities. Beginners are welcome! *Now on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, there is an in-person Mediumship Development class at UUFSB in East Setauket. If you plan to come, please first let Frank know by emailing our church by Monday night, if possible. Attendees should arrive by 7:20 pm so we can start promptly at 7:30 pm. As with the Thursday night Mediumship Development Meetup, the cost for attending is $10, or $6.00 if you cannot afford $10.00. For the Mediumship Development in-person class on Tuesday, September 28, at UUFSB at 7:30 pm, we will be doing table tipping, a group engagement that goes back to the heyday of Spiritualism. We will sit around several tables and see if those in spirit can move the tables and talk to us with vibrations and movements of the table. It promises to be a very interesting class.

The Summerland Board has been considering return to in-person services. We are proceeding cautiously due to the uptick of Delta variant cases and are looking to begin a once-a-month service in the coming months.

You will get the opportunity to listen, practice, and learn from a selection of the world class tutors that teach at the College. While the AFC remains temporarily closed due to the pandemic, our world class tutors have created a range of online courses to give you a taster of the College residential courses, all available to you from the comfort of your own home. Raising Funds This online event has been organised to help raise funds for the College. We welcome you to take a course and make a donation. Your donation will help us maintain and look after the Arthur Findlay College and grounds, a place that many people love and refer to as their spiritual home. From Valerie: After the worship service last Saturday, Karen shared that she took advantage of the classes and lectures given last year at the Arthur Findlay College Open Weekend event. She mentioned that assessments of your spiritual progress could be obtained for a token fee. Sadly it appears that the prices for individual assessments have been raised to BP45, the equivalent of $61.83 USD. These are 30 minutes of one-on-one time with the medium or tutor who would give a view of your present mediumistic or healing state of being and offer some advice. There are interesting classes and lectures, however, starting at BP5, or $6.84. If you go to the second link above, you’ll see a whole list of hourlong classes for 5BP. Workshops are two hours in length and cost BP30 or $41.02. What looks good to you? It could be “A Spiritual tour of the Life between Lives” with Tim Smith, Trance Healing Altered States with Andrj Djordjevitch, The Shaman Medium, Healer, Teacher with Maureen Murnan, Physical Mediumship—Still Alive Today with Carol Ellis, Building the Power with Penny Hayward. Take a look and see what perks our interest! There is also a Science lecture and one on Reincarnation! Janet Nohavec is offering a lecture on Seership and Prophecy! When you sign up for a lecture, there is also a separate space for making a contribution to the college itself. This is a fundraiser, after all. Private readings are also available for BP45, 30 minutes in length. Check all times carefully if you sign up for a lecture, class, or workshop. Some fees are not refundable. Look at a time converter to be sure. For example, 13:00 British time (1 PM there) is 8 AM here). It would be the same as subtracting 5: 13 (Britain) - 5 = 8 (New York).
